You may have noticed the template is a bit wonky. Yes, I am trying to update the hoary old thing with a few more current features, getting rid of old links, adding new mutual links and so on.

You can find a lot of good free blogger templates if you google. Try bloggerbuster.com for some fine templates and tricks. Get on and then keep tweaking it, if you want to. All the best.
Hi Vinod: I'm pretty happy with the orange coloured template; what I really need is some help formatting the sidebar, widgets, link refreshments...etc. For instance the "people who link here" was outdated (you were not included). And a lot of stuff just is too busy on the page....and formatted weird.
Hi Sirensongs, you can select orange colour in any new template that you choose by going from your dashboard to layout to colours and fonts. You may like to choose a two or three column template with a three column side bar at the bottom, somewhat like in my blog, so that if you have a lot of widgets etc they do not clutter up the main page and readers don't have to keep scrolling down till eternity. There are many interesting templates
Blogger has a new "follower" widget to show those who follow your blog which is pretty neat and a must have. he blogs that you follow will show up in your profile as well as in your side bar, if you want.
Suggestions welcome... well, here goes. Give up and delete this entire site. It's a mere exercise in self adulation.
@Andrew: As opposed to leaving anonymous ("profile not available") comments on other people's sites?

As Vinod_Sharma said, "Blogger has a new "follower" widget to show those who follow your blog which is pretty neat and a must have." I know I would follow it, if you decide to use the follower widget.
