What's your sign?

I am almost afraid to ask. What is a leprosy BIBING hall?

Could they mean a sort of dining hall, as in, "imbibing"?

Seen near Tapoban, upper Rishikesh, UP.

  2. A Google leads to your blog as the first link, completely clueless about this!

  3. Maybe the money for its construction was donated by a person named Bibing?

  5. Methinks it is a room/hall for the study of the Bible! It is some spelling mistake which is not so uncommon in India/Indian subcontinent.

Urban dictionary says this about Bibling [http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Bibling] but I don't think folks in Rishikesh mean this:
"also known as Drinking Alcohol, along with a phrase used with a physical gesture of manhood.

"Dude, look at Noah, he's bibling all over the place"

P.S.: Thank you for putting me in the hall of fame [cool people (links sidebar]). I have about every blog on my links page that I visit/read/subscribe too but I just realize that I had missed you! I am adding you in a minute! So thank you and sorry.

BTW, I was in Rishikesh recently (river rafting). I documented my trip (blog). And I have documented JNU Holi too and I even have a page on Firang Holi (http://jnuholi.wordpress.com).

    Ciao! Namaste!

Yet another time I tell myself I must put up my share of signs.

By the way, there's an error in one of the links: winnowed
